i think dee hit it on the head, the scale of the pinwheels are possibly a bit too large for the panel. you may want to consider enlarging the panel by adding additional borders. my eye is drawn to the pinwheels first and then travels to the panel.

your quilt and color scheme is beautiful and will be treasured by the family that receives it. keep up your good work.

Love the way it looks with pinwheels just on the top and bottom---makes the buggy look like it's moving! A plain border down the sides would be terrific and you could use the extra pinwheels on the back perhaps. Nice job and very cute.

That is too too cute. I think the pinwheels all around really set it off and to me wouldn't really need any thing else.

I like the pinwheels up and down the top and sides, or if you use the pinwheels on top and bottom with a solid strip down both sides. It's a really cute baby quilt which I am sure it's going to be loved a lot. Really nice job

Make new pinwheel blocks that are 1/2 the size you already have - could cut down the pinwheels you've done so far. Then put two rows of 1/2 size pinwheels down each side. Would keep the rectangular shape.

I like the pinwheels on all 4 sides. More eye pleasing than just having them on the top and bottom. Ellen

Being an LSU fan I really love it! I wonder how it would look with pinwheels going around one upper corner and one opposite lower corner with either solid or stripe border to finish off the sides. Geaux Tigers!
