    Default pattern suggestions

I have been "trying" to clean up my sewing room ha ha ha... anyway I have some jelly rolls. I am not 100% sure why I bought them. (imagine that). But for the sake of space I am going to make a quilt from them to use them up. I think I have 2 of these and 9 yards of "oyster" color solid yardage. And a couple of yards of avalanche grunge yardage.

Since I can't remember why I bought them I am at a loss for inspiration for what to make with them. I could make a donation quilt from them, but I can't settle on a pattern. If I could get inspiration it would help me use these and clean a little corner of my room

Any ideas? but nothing too difficult

I made a Surprise Pinwheels quilt from a couple of jelly rolls & a neutral background. I found the tutorial on MSQC, with Jenny Doan. She was really clear & I enjoyed the quilt immensely.

You could make a rail fence or add more strips and make a basket weave. Endless possibilities.

Anything using 2 1/2" strips works. You can go as simple as a jelly roll quilt (Jenny Doan has some simple vids) or a split rail to sewing sets and doing a kaleidoscope. Just decide if you want to measure from inside the pinked edge or outside the zigzags. As long as you are consistent, you won't have a problem. Reminder to keep a few strips out for the binding.

I just made a quilt using the Jordan Fabric free pattern for a log cabin quilt using a jellyroll. I added two borders and in about four hours had a finished top. Easy and accurate directions. Using your blenders in the construction of your cabin or just as borders would be easy peasy. OK it is sideways but you can see the intent.
