I just returned from a visit with my sister in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Directed me to "That Place on Market," 405 S. Main, Danville, Ohio. If you decide to visit and find yourself in front of the Danville School, go to the back parking lot and look for the sign above the doorway. All merchandise is donated. They have TONS of fabric (mostly vintage), patterns, magazines, thread, yarn, items for sale VERY reasonable, etc. They have a huge lending library; however, they told me that if I found a publication that I really wanted, they would sell it to me. Nicest ladies in the world and very helpful. The only drawback was my limited time. Hope to go back next year. Hope you visit and like it too.

Ooohhhh sounds like it's time for a road trip! Actually there is a shop hop coming up and I think a couple of the shops are in Mt Vernon. . . thanks!

I forgot to say that the quilt patterns that I bought were only $2.00 each, and I bought a UFO of blue and yellow pinwheels for $2.50.
