    Default Polka dot ideas

I’ve been given polka dot fabric and would like to make quilt blocks but can’t come up with a plan. I have big dots, small dots and many colors. If you have a pattern that would fit the bill, please share the name. Thank you !

I made a baby quilt using pin wheels with polka dot material. It was for a little one named Dottie.

I also vote for pinwheels! Even though this is a card, I totally want to make this into a quilt!

We recently had a prayer quilt donated that had polka dot pinwheels mixed with white. It was very nice. You could do a disappearing nine patch if you added a solid. MSQC Falling Charms with a solid. Lots of possibilities.

I have lots of polka dotted fabrics in my stash. They're great for kids' quilts. With the pastels I've made bunnies and with the stronger colors I've made pinwheels. If you have a lot of solids in a quilt, polka dots are great for sashings. I've also made several aprons as gifts using vintage fabric that has toasters all over it where I added a red and white polka dot ruffle.

I made an 'illusion' quilt with rectangles of polka dot fabric.

We must be on the same wavelength. I just got some polka dot fabric. Not sure what I'll use it for yet but I wanted some! Pinwheels are a great choice.

I have several polka dot fabrics in my fabric collection and I love using them-any size or any color. I like them in sashing and borders or a part of the block.
