This isn't a super walmart, it's smaller but has a large fabric dept.

I use to live in North west Ark. and two of our boys worked in the headquarters there. I complained loud and clear when I found out they were taking out the materials. My Son said that the new CEO wants to get rid of the material dept. and make room for toys and electronics which they say earns more money for the co. Since only one of the Walmarts around my home here in Oklahoma still have the material I go there but they are loseing theirs next year. I agree, old Sam must be turning in his grave. I don't shop at Walmart very often anymore.

My sister-in-law works for Walmart and they intend on closing ALL fabric departments. As the stores remodel the fabric department will be phased out.

Honestly, any time I buy fabric from walmart it doesnt last. I rather spend a little more on Moda or tueller and get quality.
