    Default pressing

When it says to press the seam allowances toward the prints does that mean print on top ?

I've not seen directions that say "press toward the prints", but maybe this means "press toward the darker side when one of your fabrics is a light one".

When it says "press towards X" it means when you turn the item over to press from the back, you should move the iron in the direction of X, so the seam allowances go in the direction of X. Does that make sense?

I have only seen those directions a couple of times and when I did the pattern was using prints and a solid.
