    Default Quilt backing

Can I use a cotton backing on a flannel quilt? I made a Crown Royal bag quilt which is flannel but I would like to put a cotton backing on it . The bags are not of a good quality flannel and I thought that a cotton backing would be more stable. Helppppppp.

Why not. We use flannel backing on cotton quilts.

Sure you can. I’ve used regular cotton backs on flannel quilts and flannel backs on cotton quilts many times.

Sure you can. You are the quilter and artist so go for it. Post a pic when it is finished and do be hard on yourself. I am sure all will be fine.
