My sister and I started a quilt last year, and of course, our busy schedules got in the way! So, 1 year later, we pulled the fabric and pattern back out, and they are SO wrinkled! We would love to know if there's a way to get the wrinkles out of the quilt blocks that we have already worked on.
We have tried ironing, with no luck.
Can we just put them in water and let them hang dry?

Wrinkle release works well. I get it as Family Dollar or you can use a small amount of liquid fabric softener in water and spray it on. Usually water works but sometimes it needs a little help. I'm told white vinegar works too. Just have to be careful not to stretch the blocks you worked so hard on.

Hi Mooncookie and welcome! I'd like to suggest ironing again. This time use a water spritz to create enough steam to mellow those pesky wrinkles. Once removed, if it were me, I would use a good starch then make sure they are still square. Steam should take care of the wrinkles, you also might consider a lightly wet pressing cloth. If you use a steam iron, sometimes they can spitter and cause browning spots. I'm sure others will chime in too. Best of luck to ya!

I just steam the daylights out of them! Seems to work well enough for me.

I saw a demonstration at a quilt show once. Take a tablespoon of vinegar and a cup of water and put it in a little spray bottle. Spritz the wrinkles and iron. It's TERRIFIC!!

I use Magic Sizing to help with wrinkles, and a good steam iron.
