    Default Quilt Dreams

Have you ever had dreams where quilt patterns were swirling in your head? Did you ever get up in the morning or in the middle of the night and wrote/scribbled a pattern that came to you in your dreams? Please tell me I am not the only one :-)

Or have trouble getting to sleep because you are thinking of all you want to do in the quilting world and the machine is on the fritz!

You've just become obsessed like a lot of us here. Some of my best quilts are dreamed up in my sleep - and some even come to fruition. A lot of them just end up scribbled on scrap paper. Some nights though, I wish I could just stop dreaming about quilts and get a good night's sleep because I keep waking up with all these great ideas and can't go back to sleep!

You are not alone. I sometimes see patterns in floors and other places. I lay in bed wondering what colors I could use.

I've had to get out paper and pencil a few times. Last night i was reading a Fon's and Porter magazine and looking closely at one done in diamonds of lime greens, whites and black fabrics. All of a sudden i had problems with my vision. ended up getting a visual migraine. bright fractals sort of curved. Hmmm. too much staring? i closed my eyes and rested half an hour and it was gone. So too many quilting ideas are not always a good thing.

This seems to be a common complaint. I make many quilts each night - if only. LOL.

Sorry, I have never had a dream about quilting. I have dreamt of making this or that changes and I have learned to WRITE IT DOWN at the moment otherwise I will forget !!
