    Default Quilt Shop Hop Tomorrow

I'm going on my first quilt shop hop tomorrow. I've never been to one. I've been on wine trails, but not quilt trails!

Hmm, wine hop or quilt hop....someone should invent a combination hop!

Careful hopping when you're on wine, though. Sure does sound like a great combination. They could provide designated drivers to keep it safe. And designated credit cards to keep your credit safe!

If this is the Between the Rivers shop hop, you're going to have fun. Lots of great shops in the hop this year....if you get to Cedar Valley Quilts in West Branch, be sure to tell me you're a board member here. Love to meet the board members face to face

I was just in Davenport on Wednesday, I saw the billboard for a shop that had over 4000 bolts. Do you know where it is so next time I am in the area I can check it out. I have only done a partial hop. I'm from the Twin City area of MN.

A friend and I just completed our local shop hop. We went to 12 different quilt shops - 3 last Friday (she took the day off work) We put on about 180 miles that day. Last Saturday we went to 6 shops here in town. Then today she took the day off again and we drove about 150 miles round trip to go to the last 3 shops. We left by 8:00 in the morning, had lunch at some great restaurants and visited a lot. I bought about 25 yards of fabric and am very happy with what I got. A couple years ago this same friend and I drove to Denver and shop hopped all the way. Spent 5 days going to quilt shops and bead shops, went to the Quilt Museum in Golden. We had a blast!! Enjoy your shop hop.

Wear comfortable shoes and have a nice big bag with a shoulder strap for all your goodies.

I went on a quilt shop hop two weeks ago...by myself, although I had asked a good friend who had other commitments. This hop included 7 stores in the SW MN/NW IA area and it was a lot of fun! I had a 'shopping list' which I didn't really follow, but came home with several kits, a few FQs, and LOTS of ideas for future use!

In August, there is a Quilt Minnesota shop hop, and althought I'd like to partake, I'm not sure my work schedule will permit...but I'll certainly dream!

How about combining a quilt hop and a chocolate hop! All the good stuff in one hop. Our hop is in June, its Wed. thru Sat. and there are LOTS of shops. I did 32 last year. But here there is Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia and all the small town around us. I am originally from western SD so I enjoy hearing about your hop.
