Default Quilt shops along the way--

Just got back from a vacation- stopped at quilt shops in Midlothian TX, Chickasha OK, Missouri Star Quilt in Missouri and loved the Lickety Stitch in Lusk Wyoming- probably my favorite one. So 12 days of sightseeing, golfing and quilt shops. Great vacation. We traveled over 5000 miles.

Well the golfing would have defeated me, but the quilt stops sound awesome! The Lickety Stitch in Lusk- that's fun just to say it! What made it your favorite?

I love to visit quilt shops when we travel and I have an understanding husband who encourages me to do it. That is where I get my souvenirs from the trip.

I love stopping at quilt shops as I travel too. I do most of my traveling in texas although 2 years ago I got to go to Michigan I didn't stop along the way cause we had an arrival time and weren't sure how long it would take to get there or how much dally and make it. were going back next spring and planning stops along the way this time my hubby is helping me pick out places to stop and were planning on Missouri star for sure any other ides are welcome. were going to make it a little more leisurely this trip. were going from altus ok to the Detroit Michigan area to a convention/open house for palladium books. that's why hubby is being so agreeable lol. hes pretty agreeable most of the time im sure I have his mother to thank and I do often.

The quilt shop in Lusk has the best collection of western fabric I've ever seen! I was there is April.

We've "discovered" places we never would have ... all because of checking into towns that have quilt shops. You can imagine my excitement the first time we ended up in Sisters, Oregon for their quilt show.
