    Does anyone know what this means???

    I only know it is NOT stitching in the ditch...where is the well on my quilts?????

    Some longarm machines on the frame quilt "in the well". The quilt is mounted differently on the frame--on mine, the pieces are over the top of the rollers and on them, they are under the rollers--they roll the opposite of mine.

    What I learned in a FM class is not to roll your quilt but to create a "well" with your quilt by kind of gathering it up around (sort of like the hole you put in mashed potatoes) and quilt in the well.

    Thanks, ladies! I have an internet friend with the same long arm as me and she was asking me. I had never heard of it before, but I KNEW someone here would have an answer that made sense. We both googled it and didn't find anything...but I know Crafty Bear is a champ at hunting down anything on the internet, so I'm looking forward to what she comes up with.
