There was one framed and hanging on the wall in an early episode of NCIS - where the husband is believed to be a thief and deserter but we find out he was framed when they discover his mummified body.

Also, in one of the first episodes of Reba, she is altering the girls' dresses for Brock's marriage using a featherweight!

In the movie, "Witness", the Amish women are quilting outdoors while the men are barn raising. The quilt they are stitching on is to die for! My next favorite movie quilt is in a Hallmark Channel movie tht I can't remember the name of, altho' I've seen it several times, where 2 young girls living on an island (N.E. USA) are best friends; one gets sent away to live with relatives when her mother dies and does not come back for many, many years. When she does, she stays at the house of the former best friend where the quilt in the guest bedroom is just gorgeous.

There was a quilt in "Groundhog Day" that I loved, even sketched it out planning to make it someday (that was movie 1st came out) Never did it, lost the sketch now can't remember what it looked like. I'll have to watch the movie again.

Raising Helen with Kate Hudson-she has a black and white square in a square quilt on her bed. My daughter loved it and wanted me to make one like it for her, so she noticed too!

I sure do! Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp had some and they were spectacular. I always wonder who made them. I wish they would give credit to quilters in movies.

Quilts in shows always catch my eye....enough so that I lose track of the story for a while just so that I can study the quilt!!!! Remember the wall quilt hanging on Reva"s wall on "The Guiding Light"?

I have the problem that I can spot quilts in a show or movie from a mile away. It can be distracting lol

One I saw recently was in the movie Chicago on Roxie Hart's bed at the beginning of the movie.
