I can believe it. My friend owns a quilt shop and she's had whole bolts of fabric stolen. They took new bolts and left the card board . imagine haveing enuf nerve to walk in slip 15 yds of fabric off the card board put it in you bag and then leave the cb setting on the shelf. It take all kinds, myself I 'am not that interested in seeing the inside of a jail cell to steel anything.

I always considered LQS a sort of haven from all the bad stuff going on. This is just aweful.

aw - that's a shame......Quilter's Paradise... I miss that store. I bet they have done a couple remodels in the last few years. I use to LOVE the back room!

Sorry about your house fire but your link to the quilts does not work.

There is hope! My friend who had hers stolen did get it back. She put the word out everywhere & even run ads in the paper & she did get it back. Some of the members may remember when I posted about it. Sure do hope that they are as fortunate to get theirs back.
I know times are rough but no excuse.

I'm sure whomever those quilts belonged to feel as violated as someone who had their house broken into. I know how that feels. So sad.

They in all probability were stolen to sell for drug money.
    That was my first thought.

Well, it sounds like they needed the quilts to keep them warm, because I am sure they have a COLD HEART.People that can do things like this does not lose any sleep over it and that is so sad. I hope they turn up.

I do not believe that they are quilters! All that time and then to steal them? I hope they have a guilty conscience for the rest of their life.
