I am looking for an organization that distributes quilts for wounded soldiers. I would like to make a few small quilts and would like to see them go to either wounded in transit or one of the VA facilities. Thank you

I think the organization you need is "Quilts of Valor" I think if you google them you will get information on what they need and want and what to do with them.

What a wonderful thing for you to want to do!

Most Guilds participate in this as well. Ours does. I have one I need to finish right now.

Our guild participates in "American Hero" quilts. They do have some guidelines as far as sizes, but you can google American Hero Quilts for the details.

    Welcome from west central Minnesota!!!

There are plenty of programs around. I sew for Veterans, in small towns nursing homes and a local VA hospital skilled nursing unit. Mostly elderly, but a few young ones in the mix that due to injury or disease need additional care.

You will find ur niche!! keep up the good works.
