Is the bobbin going the right way in the bobbin case?
Is the bobbin case inserted correctly in the machine?
Is the bobbin case all the way in?
Double check that there are no threads or lint in the bobbin area.
Finally, are you using the correct needle, is it inserted all the way, facing the right direction and threaded the right way?

I would add - is you frame adjusted correctly(ie is the quilt flat on the bed of the machine?) and is you pressure foot down?? (ask me why I ask that question. . . lol)

I have cleaned and I mean thoroughly cleaned the machine, the bobbin the tension wheels everthing. rechecked and changed needle 3 times (different needle each time) rethreaded the machine at least 5 times, even gave it a good oiling. Yes presser foot is down I have a BIG sign on the front of my machine to remind me. thanks for all responses. Any one looking to buy a bbylock quilters choice? CHEAP LOL

I just had this SAME problem last night.
I adjusted the needle where it was not pushed all the way into the socket. It needed to be a little lower than the socket allowed. but be careful how low you bring it, because i put mine a little too low and broke the needle.

Found out this morning that I need a different size needle.
Here is the thread from last night.

    Good luck.
