does a sampler quilt have to be multiple colors or can it only be 2 colors and still look good?

I've seen them all sorts of ways, all sorts of beautiful! Your quilt, your way!

Don't see why it shouldn't be just lovely in two colors. You might need to have various shadings of one or both colors.

Here is one that is browns and white/cream

Do you want to use 2 different colors or just 2 fabrics?

Do search under "sampler quilt" and look at pix.

I think a few different fabrics in the same color family would look great! What 2 colors are you considering?

Nothing says you can't do 2 colors. I made a sampler of different blocks with red/white blocks.

It may be more difficult in 2 colors, depending on the blocks you choose. Some need more colors to make parts of them stand out.

You could choose your fabrics and then the various blocks that would work well with them :D:D:D

    Some people are so funny!!!!
You should burn that handbook if you still have it. You know they were outlawed years ago!
Samplers can be a variety of fabrics or a variety of blocks. It is up to each individual.
Good luck and keep us posted on yours.
