With my MS, I have a hard time feeling the pedal and that why I drive shoeless when sewing.

Same with me. I always sew barefoot. I don't feel I can feel the pedal under my foot unless I do. Seems like we are all the same here.

So how many others out there sew without the shoe?

I am so glad to hear others say they kick their shoes off. I am mostly a stay at home person now so seldom put on the shoes I sew with only my socks on all the time It is so relaxing that when I do wear shoes now they feel heavy.

I too enjoy sewing without shoes! My mom picked on me when I did this at her house!

I do most things without shoes. The minute I come home my shoes come off. I don't spend a lot of money on shoes and don't like to wear them because I rarely find any that are comfortable. I loved living in HI; they don't make you wear shoes everywhere.
