    By all means tell him "The Truth shall set you free" Honesty is always the best policy. Maybe he could take a sewing class 101. and then you would have another topic in your life to share together. God bless him for trying.

    too bad you couldn't record the conversation when he said he broke it and the one when he said he should have left it alone.
    not to mention when he admitted he didn't know what he was doing. i hope you kept him in the gene pool. :wink:

    My DH wanted to ues my machine many years ago while I was out of town and didn't have the slightest idea of how. Our son about 5 at the time told his Daddy how to use the machine. Can I brag on our son just a little more? Today we had a wiring problem and couldn't figure it out. Thought we'd have to call an electrician. Our freezer is on that braker, so we needed fast action. Our son was only a few miles away at the time. Came over and found the problem and fixed it in 5 minutes. Our son is not an electrican. Just smart.

    Okay, okay, I did look it over, and there was a minor adjustment that I needed to do. I did tell him that he didn't break it, that the feeder dogs were down, and it was a pretty easy fix. (cuz he doesn't know what feeder dogs are) But in the future, to please not use my machine. He agreed that he shouldn't have done that and will leave the sewing to me. And I didn't even mention it after the first conversation. After all, what goes around does come around. :shock:

    I make it a policy not to lie to my husband.
    And I also don't like to make him feel bad, he does the same for me.
    I thought that was what you should do for someone you love.

    Well the little red thing on one of my shoulder say take him for every thing you can get out of him. But the one on the other shoulder with the halo say be honest. Cause if you don't it will come back to bit you in the butt. :P

    Mine would not even atempt to go near mine.Any of them I have three
    sewing macnines in house an two sergers an he won't touch any of them.
    I've even tried to let me teach him an there ain't no way he's going to touch them.Be honest with him dear it will mean more to both of you if your honest with him.But if you have time an a difrent machine you might teach him on it an not your best machine.Thats what i'm going to do with son an future daughter inlaw.well i seen what you said after i wrote this so i'm back to edit in away.you did good god bless you both.
