I am looking for the attachements that go with back mounted foot on the singer model 66-1(red eye). My grandma's machine did not have them when I got it. Is there a source for them? Thanks Glenn

I just got the same machine 2 days ago for FREE! When I went to a local sewing machine place, that repairs old machines I asked the same question. He told me he had a ton of them and threw them out!!!! Can you believe that!!

If you do find a place, let me know as I want them also.

Hope you enjoy your machine as much as I do. I tried the treadle, what a wonderful stitch, but I feel so uncoordinated. I kept on breaking the thread.

Jan, make sure that your machine is threaded right...that's the biggest cause of broken thread on these old machines! :) (ask me how I know? ;) )

The other option is to watch the antique stores and malls... ours has some good stuff sometimes! :)
