    Default Spring Pinwheel or Rhapsody

I have the blocks made for my table runner and putting them together, ok that is the easy part. Has anyone made one of these. I am confused at the PDF instructions on binding and all those inside corners look real confusing to me. I wonder if I could just do like Jenny of MSQC does her zig zag table runner and turn inside out and sew around the edges and no binding? Here is a link to the picture and any help would be appreciated.

I think Jenny's method would be totally appropriate for this project.

You can finish it however you feel confident doing. You can pillowcase it if you don't want to do binding.

What does pillowcase it mean? Also on the above link, it isn't the outside corners I am unsure of the mitering but the inside ones. Thanks for the help. I do get a lot of it here even though some of my questions may seem dumb to some of you they are totally frustrating issues to me. Thanks again.

"pillowcase" is a term to describe putting the tablerunner or quilt face up (batt underneath)and lay the backing face down on top of it. You stitch all around the outside leaving an opening for turning right side out.

I would probably do it the way Jenny does it which is also called envelope method or birthing. Here is a pictorial tutorial that shows how to bind inside corners if you decide you do want to put on a binding. http://thecraftyquilter.com/2013/06/...verted-corner/

Yes, you can "birth it" but don't use any batting that is too think otherwise you edges won't lay flat.
