    Default squaring up tool

    I got a Is It Square Tool? by Marti Michell at a garage sale but no directions. Searched u-tube and internet but found nothing. Can anybody help please with direction for use. Thanks a lot.

    I looked and couldn't find anything either. She has another ruler which is a Handi square up and it states that it does not come with instructions. Perhaps there were none. It looks fairly easy to use. This is a YouTube video I found when I searched for Using a Square Up Ruler in Quilting.     Here's one on ebay..if you can enlarge the pic, maybe you can read the instructions, or message the seller..they might be willing to copy the instructions and sell them to you.

    I went to Harbor Freight when they first opened and bought a metal carpenters square to use for my quilts...hasn't failed me yet.

    I use my trusty 6"x 12" ruler to square up most things it has always done the trick for me. Once I got the hand of it some 30 years ago there has been no need to change even though many gadgets have come out since.
