St louis Cardinal Quilt

10-15-2025We are all into St. Louis Cardinal baseball, my husband can't wait for the opening day, which is today, yeahhh, I had hoped to have this quilt done and quilted for him for today but at least it is ready to quilt. I have been looking for a quilting design to quilt it with, any ideas?

Great top! Maybe a pantograph of bats and balls in the border and SITD around the motifs in the center and then meander in the background?

No idea how to quilt it but have been wanting to make a Cubs quilt ( Cubs all the way today!) but never thought of shirts Duh. Thanks for the idea - love your quilt.

If these are t-shirt, don't stitch thru the iron on vinyl. I always outlined any lettering. I am sure that the whole family will enjoy this quilt. Might just do a smaller stipple on the tees and a larger one on the baseball fabric. Sort of a busy fabric so whatever you did probably wouldn't show.
