Default Stack and whack 4 patch posies

This is what I have been having fun with. I love the wild colors. What do you think? Too bright? Too colorful? Do you think it will be alright for a bedroom?
Remember I'm just getting started. I have about 30 more blocks made so far. I'm thinking my corner stones will be orange.

So pretty. Too Bright, no such thing as too bright. I recently started a 8 segment one. Love seeing how the shapes emerge as you sew the block together. I think the orange would be great, even the white would work. Looks like a lot of fun, be sure and show us as it goes together.

I agree - no such thing as too bright! Or, of there is you haven't hit it yet. The colors you chose play so well together, I can't wait to see the finished product!

Very pretty. I see no problem with the bright colors - after all, your eyes are supposed to be closed while you're sleeping. And it will be so very cheery when you're awake.

I don't know why, but it NEVER occurred to me that you could do stack & whack with 4-patches! They look fantastic!

I love this site sometimes. Thank you for posting! This inspires me!

GREAT IDEA !!! I have received some scraps from some previous owner's Stack n Whack and was thinking of making this quilt but alas with donation fabric, I am always running short. You may just have given me an idea on how to stretch the blocks !! How large are your squares????
