I love the look of that string quilting. I want to make a table runner with different fruit fabric I have.

Waiting for the book to become available again.

Anyone know of a Tutorial of string quilting?

There's a great tutorial on our board:

Also. MAry Quilts has a lot of string patterns:

I, too, love string quilts. I did a google search and found some really neat sites/examples.

yeah, they are fun and quick to put together. I want to do a table runner and I am anxious to start in.
I have learned so much from the tutorials on line !!

Table runner for kitchen, or dining area, close to kitchen. Have some fruit fabric and want to make it of that. Also would like the veggie fabric, but Jo-Ann does not carry it anymore as it did not go over very well. SAD !!!

Will keep looking on line to find some veggie fabric, won't give up.
