Default Suspension system with ruler work?

    Hi all,

I'm looking into suspension systems to use with my Tiara II. I have a lot of drag when doing ruler work on a larger quilt. Most of the demonstration videos and references I see are with small work/FMQ when using the suspension system. I think (but am not positive) that ruler work would work pretty well with a suspension system, correct? Just wanted to double check before making the final commitment.

Thanks so much. I appreciate all of the wisdom here!

Based on my limited experience, most suspension systems work best when working in a relatively small area, such as a block. For larger areas, say stitch in the ditch from top to bottom of the quilt, you will need to adjust the connection points for the suspension often. When doing borders, for me there was not enough drag so no need for the system.
