    PS, can you drop the feed dogs or place a throat plate on it that will allow you to free motion.

    If you can afford it without having to put aside something important then go for it. If it will strain you financially then pass.

    OK, don't hate me for saying this. I am sort of an anti-hoarder. Do you NEED this machine, or WANT it? Depending on the answer, you probably should pass, cause Im guessing the answer is WANT...
