    Default Thomas the train

While tiding up my fab, I found yardage of Thomas the Train. Son loved that show on PBS 33 years ago! Is that show still on? Are the toys popular? Don't want to make the fab into a quilt if little ones would have no ida who "he" is.

I made my grandson who is now 6 a backpack with Thomas the train fabric. He knew about Thomas, has some of the engine toys like the Mattel Hot Wheels. Also his dads an engineer so he knows! Gus is still using his backpack although I made it about 3 years ago.

Thomas the Train jelly rolls, and layer cakes are still being sold on various sites such as Green Fairy Quilts. He must still be popular with the little tikes.

Lots of his shows are listed on YouTube so he's still well known.

MaryKa, that's what I needed to hear. Took the yardage out of the tote and will make a quilt for a little guy. Thanks to everyone who responded.

I made my son a Thomas quilt earlier this year. They have a Thomas the train day out at Tweetsy railroad that he just had to go to, so I figured he would love the quilt. It's on his bed every night!

Thomas is still popular with my grandsons. It's really a cute program. There is also a web page called Thomas and friends that has little videos and coloring pages.
