    no, my thread stash is not as big, but per quilt, one uses less thread than fabric. so, although my stash does not look large, it will probably last me a very long time :)

    This brings up something I've been wondering, what to do with all those spools with just a little on them. I have a drawer full from when I was making clothes. I don't do enough hand quilting to use anything up.

    No, but that is only because the spools take up less space than the fabric. DD said she can find any color thread and any piece of fabric she needs in my stash.

    I don't think I will ever use it up as I got $600 worth thrown in for every machine that I bought.It will probably rot on the spools!

    Yes, it's big, having sewn a lot of garments over the years. At least they are mostly the little spools...
