Default Trying to choose between these two neutrals

I've decided to use a constant neutral with these fabrics, and I'm having trouble deciding between the yellowish one and the pinkish one. Does one or the other stand out to you?

Hi Lisa, the lighter one stands out more to my eyes but I think either one would be fine.

It depends on the look you want. The first lighter one would brighten up the top, the second darker one will give a more muted look. Either would look fine.

The lighter one for sure! It makes the other fabrics stand out better and the print is more open and allows the eye to rest.

The lighter one will pull the other colors forward while the other darker color will blend a bit closer not giving the same dimension to your quilt.

I agree with all of the above. If I chose, I'd probably go with the lighter.

I definitely like the one with the less busy print. I agree with it allowing the eye to rest and therefore actually acting more "neutral" than the other one. Both are pretty fabrics!

Good news is either would work just fine, no mistake with either choice.

I prefer the top picture as it has more contrast to my eye and that's usually what I want, however the second piece is more restful and a more "old timey" look, would soften it down a bit.

    Tough choice!

I like them equally. Your choice. If you can't decide, flip a coin, then immediately analyze whether you are happy with the outcome of the flip or disappointed with it. Then you'll know how you really feel.
