The next time it happens or if it ever happens again, I will be leaving the shop with my money back. Will go back to my 47 year old Kenmore. I wanted an embroidery machine so so so badly but I am having trouble with basic sewing. SO MAD!!!
Make sure you have the right bobbin case in it. I had those issues with my brother quatro until I put in the right bobbin case. Look in your manuel for direction. Also I found that canned air you get to clean computers does a really nice job of keeping it clean. I hope you get it all worked out. I love mine.

Doesn't your dealer have training on your new machine. It sounds like you are inserting the bobbin improperly, or threading it backwards, or even threading the machine improperly. A new machine should not be giving you this sort of difficulty and your dealer should be helping you to use it properly. Some of the new machines have so many features you need some training on them.

I didn't realize it was so common, but I also have a Featherweight that is the same age as me, a Singer 201, A Pfaff serger, a Brother 350SE that mostly lives in the cupboard, a Singer 401a and a Morse Fotomatic. It's the heaviest, sturdiest machine I have. I just sold a 301 and a 185j, and I really want a treadle to find it's way to me. Oh, and a couple of newer Singers that I have loaned out to my sister and my cousin, since I never used them.

Also make sure you are threaded right. Normally when you have a nest underpr in the bobbin area it is from threading. I hope this helps
