    can anyone tell me where I can get a picture of the tension assembly of a Singer 66 Red eye. I took it all apart to clean per Billy's tutorial and I don't think I have it back together right. My stitches are loose on the back. The take-up spring may need adjusting also. Thanks for any help!

    that is exactly what I needed. I do not have parts D or G, are they possibly missing or were they added to newer machines? mine is 1913 Red eye. Thanks again this helps!

    It's possible that you have an old style tensioner - does this look like yours? http://cgi.ebay.com/250886888884

    The old style is it exactly. I think I can get it back together now. Thank you so much. I've learned so much from this board. I do have a few pictures posted of the restoration project of this machine. Just search Well, I did it...
