Evacuation = dropped sewing machine
#1
It's not fancy... but it's my workhorse... my favorite machine... my Simplicity 9240. During the evacuation this past weekend with the floods in northeast Pennsylvania, my son packed my machine in the back of the car. When I opened the hatch to put something else in... it came crashing down onto the driveway... and cracked and knocked the outer piece of the balance wheel out of alignment. I looked and looked online... but couldn't find where I can get a replacement... Please, please, please help if you can!!!

I hope you can get if fixed but it may be time for a new machine. I have a hard padded rolling case for all my machines in case I have to move them all at I one time. I consider the case cost as part of the price of the machine. I'd hate to have to choose which machine to save if I had time to choose. :cry:

The cost of replacement or repair should be covered by homeowners insurance. I would keep checking for a replacement part, but dropping something hard enough to break it may have messed up the timing and other things.
