Christine, what a sweet baby quilt...love how colorful it is. I am intrigued by the ruler you are using on your LA...it looks versatile.

That's the HandiQuilter Versa-tool. I'm using the straight edge on it and maybe the curve. I'll post a picture of the quilt when I'm done.

I am working on a quilt for my soon to be born grandson. I had ordered a great fabric with space ships and planets. I pick fabrics to go with it and had it sitting ready to be cut and sewn on Saturday. I turned out the light and the fabric started to glow. No way am I making a glow in the dark baby quilt. Have no idea what kind of chemicals are in there. Maybe will make a wall hanging

I have finished the Drunkard's Path quilt top that I was working on for the VQW Hurray!! I also was able to finish another 10 mask.! Now I am onto the the next project. The QAYG 2" squares batik quilt that I have been working on for a month or so. I think I started it the end of March, before the last VQW. I only got a little done then because of the large volume of mask I was making. I am glad I got as much accomplished as I have. Here it the pic of the Drunkard's Path

So here's some of yesterday's masks. They are "healthy people" masks for us to wear while shopping, this batch is for my son/DDiL to use/give to their friends. No interface or pockets for for filters, they are washable as is. Since we are out of elastic, I've been using leftover bits of my bias quilt bindings and making bias. I start with an 8.5 x 16" rectangle, stitch the tube closed, turn right side out, make the three pleats, pin in and then stay stitch in place, and then encase everything in the double fold bias (36" each side, best made from 1.5-2", 2.5" too wide and heavy) and simply zig zag down the length.

    Hi Dee,
Here are pics of a couple of the blocks from the 2017 Helen Godden BOM that I finished. Just need to sash everything together. And also a couple of pics of the thread painting I'm currently working on.

Wow, lots of great pictures and projects. I can see lots of people have been busy. I was able to get the placemats finished, finally. They will no longer sit on the shelf haunting me. I made all of them using scraps, the fronts atleast. I have mentioned on other threads how I cut my scraps into 2.5" strips, and these placemats are why. I saw this pattern in a Keepsake quilting catalog many years ago, and love using my scraps to make them. I plan to donate them to a local Meals on Wheels program for the elderly. I hope they add cheer to the receivers day.
I couldn't help but add the snowy picture taken yesterday AM, the robin sitting in the tree in my back yard looked confused, and this is the first time I have ever had snow on the hummingbird feeder. I am so ready for summer.

I got the basic quilting and binding done. Now I need to go back and add some quilting to the black areas
