The Wal-Mart in Batesville, AR will have fabric back this Friday!!! I am so excited. I have to go to LRAB on Friday morning, but I will stop in WM when we get back into town just to see what they have!!!! I chatted with the local manager this pm and he said that they had so many requests he was totally surprised since Marshall's Dry Goods is in Batesville.

When our Wal-Mart in Apache Junction, AZ was rebuilt as a supercenter, Management and Winter Visitor customers requested that it keep it's fabric and crafts department. I believe also that the Wal-Mart at Superstition Springs in Mesa has it's fabric dept. but not sure how big it is.
I am new to quilting and everytime I run into Wal-Mart I check for renmants to build up my stash.

I thought the ones in Fort Wayne got rid of theirs? Which have it now or again.

Decatur IN still has a fabric and crafts dept.

The store in Marion, OH is slowly stocking the shelves and they have a small cutting table. I have continued to check each week and have bought cotton material for a quilt (4.45-5.99 a yd). Also, they are getting in charm packs (10.97), 7 fat quarters (10.97) and more but they are still getting stock in and the quality looks good - also have the batting by the yard, and 90 wide backing.
