    I remember about 8 years ago or so, there was a lady up the road who quilted. We had just moved here, so I did not know her. She was in her early 30's, married, with two boys. She had cancer and when she knew there was nothing more they could do, she chose her pure white casket, and then she quilted a top, bottom and lid part for the entire inside area of the casket including the pillow. She actually 'took' her quilting with her. The community all said it was so neat seeing her surrounded by her quilting which she loved.
    Wow, what a cool way to go.
