    Default Webb Galaxy fabric?

Has anyone seen fabric of pictures found with the Webb Observatory? I would love to make a quilt of those.

I don’t want spoon flower or other of those who print it.

You may have hit on a novelty topic that hasn't been made, yet! Try calling the observatory to see if they have any fabric featuring their observatory.. EQuilter.com has digital fabric that they design. You can put a bug in their ear about the need for some observatory fabric. You can always take a photo and convert it into a paper piecing project with the free software out there like quiltassistant.com.

What is wrong with spoonflower as a make your own fabric source? Is it just pricey? The fabric I have seen from there is lovely and on great cotton.

I would also be very interested, especially of prints using very recent photos off the JWST. My nephew is an astrophysicist and I've been thinking of projects I could do for his family.

If you find any Mars rocks fabric, that'd be cool too. My dad (his inspiration and role model) designed optics for the Viking Landers.

Bug fabric has a great collection of outer space fabric and is advertising some digital prints coming of images from the Webb telescope.... https://www.bugfabric.com/shop-by/th...astrology.html

I am following Poolside Stargeezer on instagram for outer space images that your astrophysicist nephew may enjoy seeing, Bob. Mars rock is an interesting rabbit hole. The Land Rover images online can give you a color for the rock and then you could track down some rock fabric in that color.....

Ibex94 thanks for the link and tips! Great find for JWST prints. I'll check out your instagram suggestion for Mars rock pics.

The whole quilt doesn't have to be made from all Spoonflower fabrics, does it? You can get a custom, one-of-a-kind print from Spoonflower, maybe a cool panel, and use mass-printed cotton for the rest of the quilt.
