I'm another for QS. I started out with Omnigrid probably because of price and the only game in town possibly. I will never buy another one. I think I might some creative grids but I don't buy specialty rulers. As for QS, I'm very happy with them even though they are pricey. My montra for every thing these days is "it must be on sale, or I don't buy". I bought the 6x24 and 3x12 first and knew my next would be the 6 1/2 square. On my way to KC quilt show in June I stopped at a LQS and almost started shopping before I got to KC, except they only had the 6 inch square. I got to KC a saw them every where at the show but happened upon the QS rep selling them on sale(not much, but some) so I got it there. Eventually I'll replace all of the rulers I have by omnigrid, but these three seem to be what I mainly use. The others are mainly squares(9, 12, 15, etc.) which I don't use much. I have a 2 1/2 x 6 1/2 by creative grids that I use a lot for small pieces and by the machine.

Have several since I was a novice and just had an addiction to buying rulers. They sit and maybe once in a while depending on the size I need to cut they get used...Like the 8 1/2 wide x 24...If I need 8 1/2 don't care abt the yellow lines.

There's an odd ball in every group, I absolutely love Omnigrid rulers, I have seven of them. Where they get the Omnigrip part from is beyond me, I don't think they grip to anything. I've put little blobs of glue on the bigger ones to make them less slippery.
