I have a green one but I have ran into a problem of not being able to see where the fabric ends on some colors of fabric. I am going to get some Glow line tape and try it.. Yesterday I started another topic and asked about it. It is a low tack neon tape that has many uses but one is that you put it on the back of your ruler on the measurement you want and then it is easy to see where the fabric ends.

Ditto. I just got a new green Olfa and it seems to be the best I have found yet.

I have the self-healing martelli 22x34 mat that is yellow on one side and purple on the other. I love it.

The only Dritz mats I have seen are pretty bright blue color now. I have an almost clear mat made by Polar. I haven't seen any in the stores. It's very thick. No layers, all one solid mat. A friend who does graphic designs for a publishing company gave it to me.

I firmly believe that Olfa mats are the best! I even bought one that is 36X70, so it is glued to my cutting table. :D If I ever need to replace it, I will glue right over the old one. Usually I will use a smaller Olfa mat though so this will preserve the lg one. I ordered the lg from the Olfa website.
