I received my 30 fat qtrs and love them. They don't all go together but I feel they are all top quality fabrics. If nothing else I'll make zippered make up bags or tissue holder to go in purses with the odd-balled ones.

Hope you find a use for them, maybe they'll grow on you.

I realize we're not looking up close, but I don't see anything UGLY! The 9 patch is a good choice.

And I'd guess the D9P would work even better---------specially if you used your favorites in the corners, the hated ones in the very center and the so so ones the center border squares.

I agree. I have told the story before of delivering quilts for donation and one was browns and purples. I thought it was ugly, but a little boy about five or six years old ran up, grabbed the quilt and claimed it as his. He kept saying, "A peanut butter and jelly quilt". He was so excited! I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ha!
    Sweet story!

After looking at the pictures, I went to Whittles' website and signed up for their mailing list to be notified for the next sale. I do not have much of a stash of quilting fabric yet, and for the price, some of them look OK to me. I realize that chance is involved here!

My question to others who have purchased FQs is this, do they indeed give you a decent 18" length, or are they cut short and crooked?
