No one likes football at our house, something I thank God for. We only had 1 tv growing up so I was forced to listen to Lions games and the associated screaming or retreat to my bedroom and hope to shut it all out. I always loved Thanksgiving because we could send the biggest football freaks to the game and have peace and quiet until dinner.

    Are you kidding me!!
    I live in Steeler Country!!
What I have heard Steelers have the biggest female fans. They even have classes before the season for the girls!
If we are not at the game, we plan nothing on Sunday's. We go to partys or have a gang over to watch.

Another where hubby doesn't watch sports but I do. I grew up with football on in the background especially during the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I find it soothing if I can't watch, if I'm busy cooking or whatever, to have it on for background noise. My hubby usually works while I watch or watches a movie on his computer.

Another New England Patriots fan and football nut here! I don't have a DH but I do obsessively watch every Patriots game. Usually I'm working on some type of sewing project at the same time.... can't stand having idle hands!

I found that when my hubby, sons and friends are busy watching Football or baseball etc, it is a good time to ask for money to go shopping.

Yuck, sports on tv......maybe that's why I sew!!!!! I actually watch very little tv....few programs I do like are Closer, The Mentalist,Masterpiece Theatre and any quilting program I can find (not as many lately as before)....rather listen to radio, audio book while I sit at sewing machine and create!!!!!
