    I don't have a clue, BUT....If I had $1000 bucks to spend I would definately grab it. I am sure that it is a good price and it won't be there long. :)

    I never find any items in CL in my area. Also never find fabric at garage sales. There are lots of treadle machines at estate auctions. May have to move. lol

    Yep, worth every penny. A new Homesteader plain, no frame is about $3500.00. I have the first version--the Stretch and love it. Service is great. Jennifer is very easy to deal with and there is a Yahoo! group with all kinds of information.

    What amazes me this past month this is the 3rd one I have seen for sale by private owners and when I was looking 3 years ago they were very rare to find used. I can't say enough about these machines and the company. QuiltingSolutions.

    This one looks like a 19 inch throat. You should be able to do a 12 inch block all the way to the end of a queen quilt......
