    I use the thinnest medium length needle I can thread that day. I usually use a double strand of " regular" seeing machine thread.

    I have been using the cotton/ poly coats@clark thread and it has worked well for me.

    A john james #11 sharp is my first choice when I can find thrm - and when the thread cooperates by going through the eye of iy.
