Don't know if this is the official name, but I've always heard it called Parasol Lady (or Ladies). There are endless variations.
Out of curiosity, I did a google search. Looks like it is also called Southern Belle.

it has several names, Southern Belle, Parasol Lady, and Umbrella Lady.

I did one last year (having quilted yet) and have the pattern, but the website I got the pattern from seems to be undergoing a re-build so I can't seem to find the free pattern on line right now.

But for what it's worth, here's the original website link I found it under: http://.sunbonnetsue.com/September2000.htm

    Whatever it's called, it's a beauty!

Looked under Parasol Lady, Southern Belle and Umbrella Lady and they all link back to the stale link above. If you are willing to buy a pattern, it is in Granny Quilt Decor by Darlene Zimmerman. Out of print but still available on EBay and some online shops. If you are really lucky, maybe your library has the book. Good luck.

I have that pattern! I did it in 30's with solids. My pattern is called southern Belle. Everyone who see mine wants to take it with them. I hand appliqued it while my mom worked on a different applique pattern. We would spend the day sewing, visiting and laughing about life. Every time I look at that quilt I remember the good days with Mom.

Should be able to duplicate from the pictures. Just get a fairly good close up and print it out (one individual block).

My daughter has one my mother made for her about 40 years ago. It has been around for a while. I think she made her own pattern. It is a keeper!

This is one of the patterns my mom always used. Having 5 daughters she did this pattern a lot. She made me 2 for me and I used them until they could not be used any more. Keep thinking I will take the girls that are still in good shape and make pillows out of them.
