Usually queen size (for wedding quilts) and then baby quilts for the babies that follow...!!!

I mostly make full size or queen size. The only time I make smaller ones are for the charity ones or for children.

Right now I am working on a queen size.

p.s. For me, it seems that quilting isn't only a hobby, it's a sickness!!
I used to make really big quilts but they take so long to complete since I like to hand quilt. I got burned out on them.
I have been doing throw or single size lately and have many requests for them. Plus I have been practicing my machine and fmq and I can do them on my machine and get a decent result. The bigger ones are too hard to do with only about a 6" throat. :) :)

It depends on the mood...((giggle)). If it's bed size, lets say queen I have a "bad habit" of it needing to touch the floor so that is what it will be (more like a king+), if it's for a twin "same deal".
The next mood... will need to do a wallhanging these usually stay pretty much to size- (though maybe a touch smaller or bigger-there again it depends on where it's going and the mood))working on 4 of them now.... then, it will be on to a table topper or ??......yep! it depends on the mood and the moment.....All Sizes for me.

I make many size quilts including purses, placemats, tablerunners, wallquilts, baby quilts, lap quilts and I am now working on a queen size quilt for a nephew and his wife. I am trying to make all of my niece's and nephews (17 of them) quilts before I kick the bucket! I have made baby quilts for each of my great nieces and nephews when they are born so have made lots of baby quilts. I am on #3 for this year(2011) It's fun to mix it up!

I don't think I have a "most often". I make whatever the inspiration at the moment.....sometimes for a specific purpose, sometimes a "just 'cuz I feel like it". ;)

48" x 72" -- a good throw size, but also used this size making quilts for cots in an orphanage.
