    I measured it at 7 inches.

    Brenda, what are you looking for in a machine? I have a 7570 and if anybody came into my home and offered me a different machine it would have to also wash dishes and clothes LOL! I have no idea what I will do if the board ever goes or it gives up the ghost in any way shape or form. I do not use even 10% of what the machine can do, but what I do use is priceless for me.

    I have FMQ a large queen/king on this machine and SITD on large full to baby sized quilts. Yeah, it took some time and work, but I got them done!
