I so want to make a bargello, but the instructions scare me silly. I can follow them thru making the tube, then it confuses me on where to unsew the tube. Would love to take a class.

Have always wanted to make a quilt resembling adjoining farm fields. Colors of the planted fields with hills, valleys and streams and all the blue sky colors. But I need some atistic flair, unfortunately that escapes me.

An applique quilt of two peacocks facing one another with their tails flowing down surrounded by large appliqued flowers in the same blue colors. I saw this in an Amish store in Bloomfield, IA last fall. Gorgeous, but I haven't found the pattern. Even if I found it, I'm not sure I'm brave enough to tackle it. Maybe just a dream.

I so hope you find the pattern. I love peacocks and would love to see it.

We have auctions here twice a year at an auction house nearby, and occasionally one of the peacock quilts turn up, they are gorgeous, they get quite a few amish quilts and tops. I go every time, like a sit down quilt show.

Sounds like I know exactly where I'll go if I ever go on vacation.

I have two - I would love to make a crazy quilt and a Lakota Star. Both for very good friends - who would like me to make them as well - lol
