Default What is your favorite white fabric?

I want to make a scrap quilt with white as the background, but the white fabric at my LQS seemed thin. I'm wondering what others use.

    Thanks!!

Mostly Kona, but the only Fabric store close to me is Hancocks and there is a backing fabric that is white and has a sheen to it and is also of good thickness ( not thin). So I get some of it when on sale or with coupon.

I like Moda Bella for piecing, or white on white tonals, for my embroidery I prefer Kona Snow, it's a soft white.

Legacy Studio's Bleached. Comes in 4 different widths. Great hand and feel. On sale in the Joann flyer today. I am going to purchase another 90" bolt this afternoon.

Kona Snow is a nice soft white. Kona White is a very bright white in comparison. For a scrap quilt, I would use Kona Snow.

Great question - will have to see what others recommend! I am always looking at the different whites to see what will be appropriate to use for future projects. I have used Kona - haven't tried Moda. It's also hard to find a white on white - some are so thin and almost transluscent - if doing red work I sometimes will back with a muslin.

I use Kona solid white, and usually buy it by the bolt when it is on sale. I use a lot of white too.
