My first car was my 1951 Ford Sedan that I still have, and I collect a lot of 40's, 50's memorabilia and my family lives by the values and morals that we had back then. Even my house was built in 1951.

Mine is pretty easy to see....I LOVE growing roses. I worked at a landscape nursery and after it became evident that I knew alot about roses...my coworkers gave me that name.

As I continue reading all the posts on this thread, I can't tell you how much I appreciate learning more about the different facets of the lives of quilters and how they become identity. Wouldn't it be fun to make quilt squares that represent your name?

You're on to a great idea here! We'd need to make it by states or regions, because of the size. Think of all of the states/countries displaying at a national Quilt Board conference. Work out some details with admin. I'm in.

Wow. I'm not even sure how we'd do this! Didn't even think of Quilt Board conferences -- you're way ahead of me on this one. HELP!!!
