mine is fairly obvious 'm not even 5' so thats the Short part, and the Sweet part was intended as sarcasm lol & it was the screen name I was using on aol when I met my husband online 15 years ago

Gigix12 - Is short for greatgrandmother - gigi and 12 is how many greats I had at the time. It is now 13.
Interesting how we get our various names.

Man, you all are good! I am thoroughly enjoying this thread! My creative juices were not flowing when I picked my ID. Bailey's Mom was taken thus BCM's Mom (my avatar)...a 2-lb, caramel colored, mini dachshund named Baileys Caramel Macchiato. She keeps my DH company while I'm sewing quilts in my Happy Room--no fussing, no cussing, no TV.

BTW, my real name is Gay, no "e" just happy, Gay. Now, I'm telling my age with a name like that because no one names their child Gay nowadays:)

Wow, you had a mom who was very patient, and it's no wonder you became a creative person with her understanging attitude.
My name is obvious, I am from Ohio and my name is sue. But it also comes from a joke, I work at Ohio State University Hospital East, usually referred to as OSUE. The hospital had a different name when I started there, so when the name change came, I jokingly said, Hey, they named it after me.

Right before I started nursing school I painted my study room orange. I love the upbeat feeling of it. This room is also my computer and sewing room! Only now I use the big table to cut material, instead of studying.

I live on the far eastern edge of North America (St. John's, Newfoundland - about a half hour drive from Cape Spear, the most easterly point in North America) and I am a member of the Eastern Edge Quilters guild. :D

My internet name came from my dog Sassy...at first just Sassy wasn't accepted so I was trying to think of another when she came over to me and I called her Sassylass...well I thought I had the right name....but no that was already taken too..so I added my birth month and day 0808 and it worked!!
